Cooling LEDs in street lighting
Local authorities value LEDs for their high energy efficiency, long service life and low maintenance costs. They are known for consuming significantly less energy than conventional lighting systems, which leads to considerable cost savings. The comparatively long service life of often over 50,000 hours reduces maintenance costs. In LED luminaires, these components require heat sinks: the LED chip and the power supply unit.
Cooling LEDs in industrial warehouses and production facilities
Energy-saving LED lighting helps to reduce operating costs and can increase the safety and productivity of various work steps thanks to its adaptability. Heat sinks for LED lighting systems must primarily dissipate heat from LED chips in order to optimise their performance and service life.
