Electronic measuring devices and analysers play a key role in medical laboratories, industrial production and research. The precision and reliability of their data determines the quality of test procedures, diagnoses and products.
In medical laboratories, analysers are used, for example, to analyse blood, monitor bodily functions or diagnose diseases. In industry, they help with quality assurance by checking compliance with specifications or predicting material fatigue. Research institutions use them to carry out precise measurements in experiments and collect data for scientific analyses. Modern measuring devices such as thermal imaging cameras and laser scanning provide new insights into thermographic and geographical conditions.

Various factors are taken into account in our cooling concept, such as the amount of heat generated, the available space and the specific requirements of the component or system - but also your desired price. Passive cooling methods, such as finned heat sinks, are often sufficient for components with low heat generation. At higher temperatures or in more compact designs, active cooling - for example using fans - or more powerful cooling methods using heat pipes, vapour chambers or liquid coolers may be required.

Cooling sensor assemblies and sensor systems

Modern technologies must record and process relevant environmental parameters. Sensors are used in a wide range of areas, from medical technology to aerospace. They are designed to detect specific parameters that are critical for the respective application. The development of such systems involves the integration of sensor components with optimised properties and networking by means of microsystem integration. With regard to cooling, components such as temperature sensors in particular must be protected from the heat generated by other electronic components. They react sensitively to external interference, which is why precise temperature control is crucial for their flawless functionality.

Cooling measuring modules

In quality assurance, measuring assemblies check a variety of measured variables, such as pressure, temperature or distances, and draw conclusions from the test data obtained. Components to be cooled in measurement assemblies usually include electronic components such as LEDs, processors, SMD components and power converters. Infrared detectors are one of many components that require cooling to increase the thermal sensitivity of the camera and produce a clear image.
